Camera360 launches “selfie app” Bestie

Ida Torres

If you don't like the idea of people taking pictures of themselves using their front-facing camera more than twice a day and posting them online for the whole world to see, then you better turn away. Okay, we're not saying all people who take selfies are that narcissistic, but a new app from Camera 360 has come out with another product that will appeal to those who love to do those kinds of pics, either by themselves or together with other people. Will Bestie become your new camera best friend?

Basically, it is still a camera and photo editing app, but their primary target audience is those who love taking selfies (probably with their besties). It comes not just with your usual editing tools, but with a lot of fun and interesting (although sometimes seemingly sexist) features. There are 26 selfie filters, each named after a girl (see what we mean by slightly sexist?) and has a "unique personality" that comes along with it. It also has a Smart Skin Smoothing feature where you can adjust between five different levels and all in real time.

The auto mode feature has a noise canceling feature so that even when you are in a low-light situation, you can still take great-looking selfies, even if your smartphone's camera isn't that great. The "powerful editing tool" that comes with the app is also especially meant for selfie pictures with its detailed enhancements, but of course can also be used for other kinds of pictures.

Earlier this year, Camera360 also released a selfie stick and now with Bestie, they are equipping selfie lovers (and we mean those who love taking selfies, get your mind out of the gutter) with the necessary tools to have better looking pics. You can download Bestie by Camera360 from the Google Play Store for free.
