Apple Now Supports Video App Previews for tvOS

Apple today announced that the App Store can now display app previews - short videos demonstrating an application's capability - in listings for tvOS apps for the latest version of the Apple TV. It also makes video demonstrations of apps, in which you might want viewers to see your face, simple to record.

This feature also hasn't come to the Mac App Store. It will appear on the app's main page along with the screenshots.

Although Apple's own QuickTime app already allows you to record your iOS screen to your Mac, the advantages here are easy uploading and sharing via Lookback's platform and the ability to simultaneously record your Mac's camera. Video previews have been available as a way to showcase iOS apps in the App Store since 2014, but have not been extended to the Mac App Store.

In its recent State of App Marketing - H2 2015 Appsflyer analyzed more than 1.1 billion non-organic app installs and 5 billion app opens to learn when users in different parts of the world install apps and when they use them. Along with dictation support using Siri, the new software will bring Bluetooth keyboard support, true app folders, and more.
