Food lovers will go to great lengths to get that perfect picture of their meal so they can show it off to all their friends on social media. Whether that means standing on a chair, using only white plates or taking the picture from so many different angles that their food gets cold in the process, there really is a method to landing the perfect food photo. But now, thanks to the geniuses over at LINE Corporation, there's a much easier way to go about it.

On Feb. 2, LINE released a new photo app called "Foodie" that really stands out from any other food-photo app out there. The app features 24 different filters that are specifically designed for different types of foods. For example, there are filters called Crispy, BBQ, Yum, Chewy, Fresh and Sweet that are designed to perfectly enhance the colors and textures of food.

While the filters are awesome, the coolest part about the app is the best angle feature. "The best angle feature lets you know the moment the camera is positioned completely horizontally," the company explained to Mashable. Since every food lover knows the best photos are shot from above, the feature includes a yellow bar that illuminates at the bottom of the screen and vibrates when you've got the right angle so you know you have the perfect shot.

If you have some photos you've taken in the past that you'd like to spruce up with the new filters, the app even allows you to import images from your device. There's even an auto-blurring effect that focuses the shot and blurs the background so your food really stands out and a flashlight feature so you can shoot images in dark dining settings.

Foodie "offers the basic features expected of a camera app" so you can share the images right to LINE or to your social media pages like Instagram and Twitter, according to Mobile World Live. As the creators of B612, a popular selfie camera app with more than 100 million downloads, LINE hopes that Foodie can "follow the example set by B612."

"Going forward, Foodie will continue to develop food-specific features, such as filters and effects, that allow users to have a more enjoyable and enriching communication experiences through food photos," LINE explained. It is currently available for iPhone and Android.
