Latest Evernote Android App Update Adds Scan And Annotate Features

The Evernote camera has now been redesigned so that digitizing your documents will now be smoother and easier, especially if you still have a lot of physical files that need to be scanned and filed, but you have no scanner. Evernote says users have been clamoring to bring it to Android. Evernote then processes the image, crops it, and adjusts the contrast for a clear and crisp digital rendering.

The new modes for the in-app camera include a default automatic and a manual mode.

When you take a picture of a document in automatic mode, Evernote's in-app camera detects the document's size and type and calibrates to take the best snap possible. Evernote, one of the first cloud-connected note-taking apps, has just announced some new features that they have implemented in the app following their most recent update, which they are now pushing out to Android users across devices today.

The company explained that images recently scanned are "temporarily kept in a gallery w here they're easily managed".

Latino groups put the bite on Donald Trump over taco tweetDemocrats are also under fire from some Latino voters who disapprove of the deportations by President Obama's administration. Clinton said the "best way to prevent that from happening is to make sure he never gets near the White House".

Annotations for images are a big part of Evernote's history, though they used to reside in a now defunct Evernote app called Skitch, they're making a return but in the main Evernote for Android app thanks to popular demand. You can now add arrows, shapes, stamps, and text to images, and if you're an Evernote premium user, you can annotate PDFs. Another plus for the Premium users is that they can attain refined business card scanning and add more to the card's note through connection with LinkedIn.

The productivity app also has an improved note editor and more ways to organize your thoughts. There's also a way to actually empty the "trash" can within Evernote.

There's also support for strikethrough, subscript, and superscript formatting styles, as well as the ability to select multiple notes to move or tag them all at once.
