Snapchat users have been reporting a lot of problems with the app as of late. It appears that many smartp hones running the latest version of the app are experiencing camera issues and this isn't a hardware problem but rather a software problem causing the camera to be faulty. Snapchat has been known for updates that cause a lot of issues, mainly because the company adds a lot of features to the table but rarely passes the new app through intensive testing. Basically following the latest Snapchat update a lot of people have noticed that the camera flash isn't working anymore. This applies only to the back camera. There's no confirmation that this issue is an Android issue as well but most of the people that reported this problem are running iOS so it's basically a bug exclusive to the Apple devices. This is particularly strange but wouldn't be the first time Snapchat screws things up.

So given that you updated you Snapchat to the latest version and are experiencing flash issues with your camera, how can you fix it? Well, one way to get this fixed is basically to rollback to an older version if possible although this doesn't always fix it. Some users have tried uninstalling then reinstalling the app but this doesn't solve anything. Right now Snapchat has acknowledged the issue and is actively working to fix it.
