Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Third Party Camera App Not Working Issue & Other Related Problems

The #Samsung #Galaxy #Note5 which was released in 2015 is one of the smartphone models that takes amazing quality photos. This device is equipped with a 16 MP f/1.9 rear camera that has OIS while its front camera uses a 5MP sensor.  This is the same setup a that used by S6 and S6 Edge. Note 5 Third Party Camera App Not Working

Problem: hi i have note 5 with stock MM. My stock camera app works fine but when i try any other camera app there comes a problem specially in video. video recording starts shows well…but when i play that video it shows still image …but seeking bar moves…i hear audio until the bar reaches to end and when seeking bar reaches to end the video starts with no sound. tried wiping…factory reset…cache format…nothing worked.

Solution: The problem might be caused by the old software version that your phone is running on. I recommend that the first thing that you do is to update your phone software to Android Nougat. If your phone does not update then you should consider manually flashing the updated firmware file. You can get this file from the Sammobile website. Instructions on how to flash your phone are also available in this website.

In case the issue still persists even when your phone is already running on an updated software version then the problem might be caused by the third party app itself. Try using a different camera app from the Google Play Store.

Note 5 Unfortunately Gallery Has Stopped Working Error

Problem: Hi I have a problem with opening my gallery, won't open up. I have a galaxy note 5. Ithe was working perfectly yesterday, then out of nowhere it said unfortunately, gallery has stopped. I shut it off, restarted , waited a day but still didn't let me get through. I looked up videos of how to fix it and tried them but doesn't work . Can you please help me out. Thank you

Solution: The first thing that you should do in this particular case is to clear the cache and data of the gallery app from the application manager. This will usually fix the problem. If it doesn't then you need to proceed with the troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Start the phone in Safe Mode then check if the issue still occurs in this mode. If it doesn't then the problem could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
  • Try wiping the cache partition of your phone from the recovery mode.
  • Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
  • Note 5 Camera Failed Error

Problem: It says warning camera failed. Sometimes it also says …more than one app is trying to access the camera. Camera will shut down. I tried all of the methods you had on your page and it still doesn't work.

Solution: Troubleshooting this problem is just like troubleshooting a gallery has stopped issue which we have addressed above. The first thing that you will need to do is to check if a glitch in the camera app is causing the problem by clearing the cache and data of the camera app from the application manager. If this does not fix the problem then proceed with the troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Start the phone in Safe Mode. When the phone operates in this mode only the pre-installed apps are allowed to run. Check if the issue still occurs in this mode. If it doesn't then it could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
  • Wipe the cache partition of your phone from the recovery mode.
  • Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
  • Note 5 Camera Is Blurry After Installing Screen Protector

Problem: So I recently put a screen protector on my phone and I the screen doesn't respond to my finger but my s pen does.. Also my camera got blurry which I think is due to the fact that I used Windex to install my screen protector

Solution: If there is no hole where the camera lens is located in the screen protector and the screen protector is not clear or is not applied properly on the phone then it's very likely that you will get blurry photos. The fact that the display does not respond to your finger after placing the screen protector means that it has not been applied properly. I recommend that you remove this screen protector then just get a new one. Make sure that you properly install it this time.

Note 5 Camera Stopped Working After Software Update

Problem: Hello, After the last update my camera stopped working i did all the trouble shooting provided so far, clear cache tried other apps tapped around camera force stopped even factory reset and hard reset issue still persist camera isn't working I have a note 5 from verizon nv920v 64 gb

Solution: If a factory reset does not fix this problem then this is most likely a hardware related issue already possibly caused by a faulty camera module. The best thing that you should do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

Note 5 Restarts When Using Camera

Problem: Hi, I just bought Samsung Note 5 from my friend. I am facing issue of automatic restart when I try to take photo. First Photo which I take it turns out to be completely green color just like green paper photo, and next second it automatically restarts. This problem is quite random thrice a day.  P.S> I have tried by Hard factory reset and wiping out cache from boot menu. But problem persists. Is this hardware issue??? Please help me out. Thank you.

Solution: It's very likely that the problem is caused by a faulty battery or some internal component that is failing to work whenever the camera is being used. The best thing that you can do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

Problem: After installing update of samsung note 5, i got issue with camera setting. when I touch camera setting wheel , it appears & disapear within no time. Means it do not stay at screen.

Solution: Try restarting your phone then check if the issue still occur as sometimes a restart is usually what is needed to fix this problem.
