The Razer Phone was announced in early November, but the device's camera has been at the center of much disappointment. However, thanks to the official Razer camera app being released simultaneously on the Play Store, this makes updates much easier for the company to manage.
To help combat some of the early issues being experienced with the camera on the device, Razer has released a new update to the application. There isn't much to be said in terms of new features, as this is a pretty bare bones update and only includes "Improved Performance" and "Minor bug fixes".
Nonetheless, it's nice to see Razer caring enough to the point that it is already releasing updates to bring the camera up to snuff. While the Razer Phone may not be your first option since it's only available unlocked, it's definitely still a solid phone that should be considered, especially if you're a gamer.
There is hope that we'll see more substantial updates to the camera in the future, including increased functionality. However, if you don't want to wait, you can try and download the ported Google Camera APK that works with any device powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835.
